Kirsten Jenkins

Kirsten Jenkins is a Senior Lecturer in energy, environment, and society within the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Alongside her lectureship, Kirsten serves as Managing Editor for the journal Energy Research & Social Science and Associate Member of the Scottish Science Advisory Council, amongst other roles. Until March 2026, she is adviser to the Scottish Parliament’s Net Zero, Energy, and Transport Committee.
